My final film idea so far is to have a men walking to work everyday past a house with a high wooden fence and everyday he hears something saying "7, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7". Its only ever in the morning. He looks confused and looks at the house. He tries going on the other side of the road he tries putting headphones on he tries leaving earlier but still hears the voices. then one day he tries looking over the fence but cant see anything and gets even more confused. The next day he looks through a small hole in the fence only to get poked in the eye with a stick. He walks off annoyed holding his eye and as he walks off he hears "8, 8, 8, 8, 8". Then a shot of the other side of the fence and theres some children giggling and add to their tally on the fence in chalk.
Mise-en-scene
Setting: Just a normal street with a high fence that I have easy access to.
Hair and makeup-costume: The guys clothing changes everyday to show the days.
Lighting: Natural lighting
Character expression: Confusion and Intrigue. Amusement from the children.
Props: chalk in the final scene
Cinematography
Different shots of the man walking. Different angles.
Sound: Possibly some music. Obviously the dialogue of the numbers.
Editing: I will probably use a range of basic editing techniques as my film is a simple genre so would look wrong with crazy editing.
Representation: I want to make a joke of keeping your nose out of peoples business and being too intrigued.
Genre:
Narrative: Linear narrative and I want the character to develop throughout the film with his expression.
Audience: I want anyone to be able to watch the film. Not specifically anyone.
